How to Remove Wrinkles and Fine Lines

Here’s how to remove wrinkles and fine lines without expensive cosmetic surgery.  Use an anti-aging day cream, a nighttime moisturizer and a good body lotion.

Paying More But Not Getting More

If you’re not careful, you could spend a small fortune on anti-aging skincare products, too.  Consumer Reports recently tested a number of them.  The most expensive sold for $335 per ounce.  There is no need to pay that much.  The reporters found that some of the less expensive products worked just as well.  Some of the less expensive ones actually worked better.

Cheap Doesn't Work Either

On the other hand, the cheapest anti-wrinkle creams are not likely to be effective.  Some of the most effective ingredients are expensive.  They just don’t cost $335 per ounce.

Most Effective - Best Buy

The most effective ingredients (and the safest) are derived from natural sources.  That means the available quantities are limited, which in turn drives up the price.

"Miracle Ingredient" for Anti-aging

Functional Keratin is one of the most effective anti-aging ingredients.  It has been hailed by some as an “anti-aging miracle ingredient”.  Scientists investigating how to remove wrinkles and fine lines found that the natural active protein formula increases the skin’s firmness and moisture content, which will smooth out a line or a wrinkle.

Functional Keratin is extracted from sheep’s wool.  Sheep’s wool is not rare, of course.  But, there are limited quantities.

Synthetic ingredients are available in unlimited quantities.  They are also cheap.  Most are derived from petrochemicals, which are byproducts created when crude oil is converted to gasoline for our automobiles.

Crude Oil for Your Skin?  NO WAY  Are You Sure?

Which sounds better; sheep’s wool or motor oil?  Who would knowingly choose to use products derived from crude oil?

Lots of people buy products without knowing what they actually contain.  Practically everyone has petroleum jelly (Vaseline) in their bathroom.  If it degrades rubber and latex, imagine what it does to your skin.

Petroleum jelly could not logically be a part of how to remove wrinkles and fine lines.  Yet, if you look at the label of ingredients on over-the-counter and prescription wrinkle creams, you will almost always see petrolatum listed as a base or inactive ingredient.  Petrolatum is nothing more than white petroleum jelly.  Do you really want a crude oil by-product on your skin?

Nature Knows Best

Plant-based oils like grape seed, olive and jojoba are good base ingredients.  Nutrients like Functional Keratin can be mixed with them easily and they provide additional nutrients.

Grape seed oil in particular is rich in essential fatty acids and anti-oxidants.  Researchers looking at how to remove wrinkles and fine lines from the face have found that grape seed oil is very effective.

Ingredients You Should Never Be Without

Your day cream should contain grape seed oil and functional keratin.  Your nighttime moisturizer should contain Shea butter, avocado oil and Functional Keratin.

If you’re like a lot of people, you might not have wrinkle skin on parts of your body that rarely see the sunlight.  But, using a good body lotion is still a good idea.  It will keep your skin healthy and soft.  Look for a body lotion containing olive and jojoba oils, if you want the best.

You just need to be selective about what your skincare products contain.  So, now you know how to remove wrinkles and fine lines.
